Connection Strings: MySQL
To connect to a MySQL database, choose MySQL from the list of available systems. DataZen supports MySQL natively, without using an ODBC driver; however, you can specify an ODBC driver if desired.
Cloud agents do not support ODBC drivers; to use MySQL with a cloud agent choose MySQL from the list of connections; not ODBC.
The use of an ODBC Driver for MySQL is optional.
The list of ODBC drivers provided are those found on the machine where DataZen Manager is
installed. If the Sync Agent is running on another server, the Agent using the connection may,
or may not, have the same ODBC drivers available. If the selected ODBC driver is not
installed on the server where the Sync Agent is installed, the job will fail.
